Monique’s professional experience includes work as an educator and workshop facilitator within public, private and corrections settings. Her work experiences provided her the opportunity to work with various groups in areas of case management, counseling and consulting. Monique is a native of Youngstown, Ohio. She received her Bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University in Psychology and a Master's degree from Ohio State University in Social Work. She is passionate about guiding the client back to their authentic place. The place before the guilt, shame, abuse, doubt, burnout, and anxiety by utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches. Monique's faith is an integral part of her approach to helping her clients. Monique provides traditional counseling and Christian counseling. She provides insightful, empathetic and confidential services. She loves the field of Social Work and enjoys supervising LSWs as they prepare for their independent licensure. Monique has resided in Columbus, Ohio for 18 years. She is a passionate OSU Buckeye Football fan as well as the Dallas Cowboys.
